MAJOR STRUCTURES OF ISRAEL AND ENVIRONS
SNEH AND WEINBERGER, 2014
This 1:500,000 scale map shows the major surface and subsurface structures of Israel, including the traces of the Syrian Arc fold system, the Sinai-Negev Shear Zone, and the Dead Sea Fault system. In terms of accuracy, the map is based mainly on 1:50,000 scale geological maps as well as on variety of other sources listed at the bottom of the map. The map can be integrated into GIS projects.

MAIN EVENTS ALONG THE DEAD SEA FAULT SYSTEM IN ISRAEL
This chart summarizes the main events that occurred along the plate-bounding Dead Sea Fault (DSF). The chart indicates different regions (basins and saddles) along the DSF and their evolution over time. 'Events' are categorized into tectonic, sedimentary, erosion, magmatism, diapirism, subsidence, uplift and sea ingression that have occurred in the vicinity of the DSF since the early Miocene.
